KELP (60 Tablets £4.49)
Kelp is a sea vegetable that is a concentrated source of minerals including iodine. Iodine, which is readily absorbed and taken to the thyroid gland by the bloodstream, assists the body to make the hormone Thyroxine which is involved in the regulation of the metabolism in all cells of the body. People who avoid seafood, dairy products, processed food and salt can become deficient in iodine. Kelp can be consumed as a source of potassium, magnesium, calcium and iron. Spirulina is a form of microalgae very high in natural protein containing all 8 essential and 10 non-essential amino acids. It is, also, an important source of antioxidants such as Vitamin C, B complex and E. Spirulina also contains calcium and iron as well as manganese, copper and selenium.
